Poetry: The Trusted by N.I.L

Arise o Compatriots!
A duchy,were the royals
Have become pilots

Pilots that roam
Pilots that flee
In search of hope
In search of glee

To an unknown destination
Hanging on the trusted
Declaring affirmations

Cadavers around like rocks
Cold and stiff
Hoping on the spiritual
For a gift

Living, Like slack lining,
Abandoned by the trusted
But still striving

It’s beautiful..Very colorful..
Or so as they say..

hey Lovelies, hope you’re doing well today?well..This is a different post today..

On the 28th of June,2018..Many lives and properties were lost in a result of an explosion of a petrol tanker…I was in my feelings and then decided to write the above poem to make me feel better…As I wrote, tears rolled down my the memories of when my family and I used to travel using that same road…Its a very popular road and thousands of lives plough that road everyday…its the popular Lagos-Ibadan express road..I just feel this kind of mistake could have been avoided….Only if the leaders cared much enough about the lives of citizens…Sometimes when people are frustrated..of things like the economy or the government , health deteriorates and bad things happen..IMG_5669

Well, we have no choice than to be hopeful, At this point, Its a little difficult but we still have to hope..Hope for a Time were peace and love will reign again…Because if there was enough love, we would have been cared for…

Nice piece dear….may all souls that were lost that day be at peace. And I hope the leader take some measures so this never happens again
